The American Society of Oncology 2020 virtual meeting was held amidst the COVID-19 outbreak in June 2020. It provided a diverse program with a multidisciplinary perspective. To put the many new research publications in perspective for busy clinicians, OncoCare Cancer Centre is providing a series of updates for various cancers.

The OncoCare ASCO Update Hour aims to provide medical professionals treating cancer patients a platform to discover the latest evidence-based studies in breast cancer divided into loco-regional and metastatic disease categories.

Programme in 1 hour:
• Introduction by Dr Peter Ang (5mins)

• Breast Cancer Local/Regional/Adjuvant topics by Dr Tan Sing Huang (20mins)
Updates on new systemic therapy strategies which have been studied in the neoadjuvant and adjuvant settings for HER2-positive, triple-negative and hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.

• Breast Cancer Metastatic topics by Dr Wong Nan Soon (20mins)
The role of surgical treatment of the breast primary in metastatic disease as well as updates on systemic therapy for advanced breast cancer will be discussed.

• Question and Answer session (15 mins)
